COVID-19: guidance for educational settings
Advice from Public Health England
We have received a small number of calls from parents over the COVID-19 virus. Therefore, we wanted to update you on how we are dealing with this situation.
Firstly, we have been given very clear advice from Public Health England on this matter which we wish to share with you to allay any fears you may have. This can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19/guidance-to-educational-settings-about-covid-19
The local authority provide regular updates and advice on which we will always act. Additionally, we have signed up to automatic updates from Public Health England.
As always, we remind pupils about the importance of good hand hygiene and that coughs and sneezes should follow the '‘Catch it. Bin it. Kill it." advice using tissues provided in school. We would be grateful for your support in reinforcing this with your child.
