Sammy the tortoise visits Early Years!

Mrs Sore's mum brought her pet tortoise into school to meet all the children in Early Years. He was very sociable and walked around the circle, greeting everyone and letting them touch his shell. The children had been learning all about what he eats and how he hibernates in the winter,  so they asked questions to find out more about information about this unusual visitor.

The children were so gentle and kind and they all made him pictures to take home to put in his little tortoise house.
