Year 4 Hockey Trip

Our Year 4 children recently took part in an exciting hockey skills event held at The Parks Leisure Centre. Organised by the North Tyneside Sports Team, the morning focused on developing key skills rather than competition, giving the children the chance to learn and improve in a supportive environment.

Throughout the session, pupils rotated around a series of skill-based circuits designed to build confidence and technique. They worked on dribbling, passing, control and shooting, with each station introducing a new challenge to help them progress. Coaches encouraged the children to try their best, explore new techniques and enjoy the experience of learning a new skills.

The children fully embraced the activities and had a fantastic time. Their enthusiasm shone through, and it was brilliant to see so many of them growing in confidence as the session went on. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip where the children not only learned valuable new skills but also represented the school superbly throughout the event.
