Reception visit to the library

This half term, the children in Reception enjoyed a visit to Longbenton Library. They loved walking through the autumn leaves and talking to each other about where they lived as they walked along Goathland Road towards the library.

They listened to a story and answered questions about what they had read. They chose a book to take back to school and then finished their visit by decorating a hedgehog with autumn-coloured leaves. 

Longbenton Library is a great place to visit with a wonderful choice of books for young children, and the children in Reception are already looking forward to their next visit in the new year.
